2017 Indian Premier League: <br />The 2017 season of the Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 10, will be the tenth season of the IPL, a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament will feature the eight teams that played in the previous season. The 2017 season is scheduled to start on 5 April 2017 and finish on 21 May 2017, with Hyderabad hosting the opening match and the final. <br /> <br />Format: <br />Eight teams will contest the season. The schedule for the tournament was published on 15 February 2017.[2] The league stage, consisting of 56 matches, will take place between 5 April and 14 May 2017.
